Editorial policy & corrections

Stardew Tips is an independent fan guide site maintained by Holly. Our purpose is to turn game mechanics into practical decisions: what to plant, what to save, and what to try next.

Scope and assumptions

Guides target unmodded Stardew Valley 1.6 unless an article says otherwise. Standard farm settings and standard Community Center bundles are the default. Mods, platform updates, professions, crop quality, and multiplayer settings may change an answer. Prices are base values unless noted.

Sources and original explanations

Reference material includes the official Stardew Valley website for announcements and the Stardew Valley Wiki for game mechanics. Our guides organize facts into plans and explanations; reference links are for verification, not permission to reproduce another publisher’s writing. Game artwork belongs to its respective rights holders.

Limits of our review

We do not claim that every route has been personally tested on every platform. Guides can contain mistakes. A publication or update date records an editorial change, not a guarantee that the game has not changed since then. We update dates when the substance of an article changes.

Corrections

Email holly125@yeah.net with the article URL, the disputed passage, your game version, and a reference or screenshot if available. We review the report and amend the guide when a correction is supported. We cannot promise a response time.

Advertising and independence

The site is intended to earn revenue from display advertising through Google AdSense, subject to approval. Advertising does not determine our gameplay recommendations. Ads must remain distinguishable from navigation and editorial links. Readers are never asked to click ads to support the site.

Writing tools

Software and AI tools may assist drafting and editing. These tools are not sources of authority; responsibility for what we publish remains with the site operator. Useful explanations and accurate facts matter more than article length or publishing volume.
